Thank you for supporting Mistakes Made. Every piece we create is a part of a limited, intentional run designed around reflection, craft, and human imperfection. Because we operate as an independent studio rather than a mass-production fulfillment house, we handle our logistics with the same focus we give our designs.

Please review our shipping guidelines below before completing your purchase.

1. Order Processing & Fulfillment

  • Processing Time: Standard orders are processed and packed within 3 to 5 business days after each order. Orders are not processed, packed, or shipped on weekends or major holidays.

  • Tracking: As soon as your order is handed over to our carrier, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking status to update.

  • Orders Split: If your order contains multiple items, the order may be split into several packages within the same shipping cost.

2. Domestic Shipping Rates & Timelines (United States)

We ship all domestic orders from our warehouse in Virginia. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and your location. We offer the following service tiers:

  • Standard Shipping (3–5 Business Days): This is a flat delivery fee of $8, dispatched through USPS, regardless of your location or the weight of the package.

  • Courier-calculated (3-5 Business Days): Dispatched through USPS, the shipping rate is automatically calculated by the courier based on the weight of the package and your location.

  • Please note: Delivery timelines are estimates provided by the carriers and do not include our internal 2-4 day processing window.

3. International Shipping (Canada & Rest of World)

We want our international community to have a seamless delivery experience free of unexpected surprises at your doorstep.

  • Delivered Duty Paid (DDP): For shipments to Canada, all applicable customs, duties, and import taxes (GST/PST) are calculated and collected directly at checkout.

  • No Surprise Fees: By paying these fees upfront, your package clears customs smoothly and is delivered straight to your door with zero balance due upon arrival.

  • International Timelines: International transit times vary significantly depending on the destination and local customs processing, typically ranging from 3 to 14 business days.

4. Lost, Damaged, or Stolen Packages

  • Mistakes Made is not liable for products damaged, lost, or stolen during transit. If you receive your tracking confirmation but your package does not arrive, or arrives damaged, please file a claim directly with the shipping carrier using your tracking number.

  • Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are unable to redirect or correct shipping addresses once a package has left our facility.
